In Paul’s letter to Titus, he emphasizes the work ethic that should exist in God’s Church. Paul writes about work several times in this brief letter. Here’s one of those references: “Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good work.” (Titus 2:14). Our young adults put the exhortation and admonition of this text into practice. They planned the Family Fun Bookbag Event that was fantastic. Frankly, it’s obvious that a great deal of diligent prayer and careful planning went into the event yesterday. Many parents and their children from the local community attended. Conversations and contacts were made with those attending, and we are trusting that they will lead to more interactions and ultimately Bible studies and decisions to accept Jesus Christ. We do plan to follow up! We are so thankful to God for putting this event into the minds and hearts of our young adults. We’re also thankful for the work Rob and Samantha invest in our young adults each month. And yes, we are thankful for the opportunity that God will give us to follow up with those who came out from our community. THIS WAS A GREAT WORK! Young adults, this is how you invite God’s blessings and favor into this season of your lives. God remembers our work and blesses the lives of the faithful: “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love…” (Hebrews 6:10). Young Adults, may God continue to guide you in His will and good work. VHH
